My Story

Henry was diagnosed with infant leukemia the day after his first birthday. He has spent over 100 days in the hospital, countless days at clinic. On February 10th, 2013, he took his last dose of chemo. For four months, Henry thrived. Then, he started to have complications from his two extensive years of chemotherapy. On December 20th, at 2:05pm, Henry died in his mother's arms. The chemotherapy had not only killed the cancer cells, but also ruined his immune system. The cure ended up killing him. This is yet another reason we need to find a cure, find better treatments and help our kids survive.
