My Story

Our son Tanner was diagnosed with AML (Acute Myelogenous Leukemia) in April of 1999. He was only 3 months old. Over the next eight months, Children's Hospital of San Diego became our second home. We cherished every moment spent with our little angel. After many rounds of chemotherapy and, ultimately, a bone marrow transplant, Tanner lost his battle with leukemia a week before his first birthday.
