My Story

Nicole was diagnosed with ALL (Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia) on Sept. 11, 2008. She underwent Chemo treatments for 2-1/2 yrs. and "rang the bell" symbolizing her cancer was gone on March 23, 2011. On May 20th her cancer was back more aggressive than before. She entered the hospital on Sunday, January 8, 2012 to begin takedown with radiation and chemo to prepare her for a bone marrow and immune system transplant on Monday, January 16, 2012. When she relapsed her mother was in the hospital with a blood clot in her heart and lung. Her Dad was laid off work. "Colie" was a smiling 7 yr. old. who loved her Monster High dolls; loved to visit her friends (nurses and doctors) at the hospital; wore her flashy blue, pink, green, mohawk wigs and was always upbeat. She deserves to be honored.
