Loretta G.Follow

At the age of 2 and a half Loretta was diagnosed with Juvenile Pilocytic Astrocytoma (JPA). A large mass was found in her spinal cord and was pressing into her cerebellum. She was diagnosed and also treated for hydrocephalus at Galisano Children's Hospital in Rochester, NY. Because of the location of her tumor and her age, no surgical removal or radiation has occurred. She is now receiving her weekly chemotherapy at Strong.


Loretta is a joyous 3 year old who loves to play, sing, and dance. She loves to pretend play that she is many different characters from movies and shows like Toy Story, Dr. Seuss, Jake and the Never Land Pirates, and Mickey Mouse. Loretta is a very brave and courageous little girl. She has a wonderful sense of humor and loves to laugh and be silly.
