My Story

Autumn was diagnosed with a very aggressive brain tumor in February of 2010 called AT/RT. There were also cancer cells found in her spinal fluid and was treated twice a week with intrathecal chemo and endured weekly spinal taps for around two months. She under went 22 weeks of aggressive chemo and we left for MD Anderson in Texas for two months of Proton Radiation Therapy to her whole head and spine. She remained clear of the cancer for some time thanks to her team of wonderful doctors, nurses and prayer warriors who fought for her cure. She loved drawing and playing computer games. She called herself a game geek! She loved her three animals, Kenobi her dog, Rusty and Whiskers her kitties. She will forever be very close to her big sister Mandy. She loved Spongebob and the color pink. She was a very active little girl with a wonderful sense of humor. She wanted to take up karate and maybe dance.
