Luke was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) in July 2005 at the age of 15. He was recently diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin's B Cell Lymphoma in March 2008. From the start of his original diagnosis with ALL to this most recent diagnosis, Luke has been heroic. He is a Senior at Quincy University in Illinois holding a 3.77 GPA Majoring in Biology and Minoring in Chemistry and Theatre. He plans on being a Pediatric Hematologist-Oncologist. He wants to give back what he has learned and endured to our society and give hope to those like him who have been afflicted with cancer and to show them they too have hope in beating their diseases. He is supported by his three brothers, his father, mother and step-father as well as many friends and relatives. Luke helped out in promoting St Baldrick's cause since the 2007 Combined Federal Campaign helping raise more than $4,000 for St Baldrick's and lead the "National Hairless Society" at Belleville East High School to collect over $12,000 since 2008. Whether you support Luke or anyone else, the key is to support this worth while cause to help fight childhood cancer.
