My Story

Kaylee was and continues to be an inspiration to so many people and we miss her every day. Her love of life and everyone in it shone through and we were all made better people by having known and loved her. Bold, beautiful, kind-hearted and daring, she was wise beyond her years. At the age of 13, Kaylee made the decision to shave her long, beautiful blonde hair rather than wait for the effects of chemotherapy to do it for her. If my brave daughter was able to summon the courage to do that as a teenage girl, I as her mother will gladly do the same in her honor and to help raise funds for this devastating illness. I have been growing out my hair, and plan to donate the length first, and then fully shave it off in her memory. Please donate in her honor for all the children that must go through this brutal illness - trust me when I say there is nothing worse in this lifetime than losing a child. Thank you in advance for whatever you feel moved to give.
