Meghan has the most vibrant smile and great laugh! Her resilience is an inspiration to her family and friends. She celebrated her 8th birthday on March 1st.
She was diagnosed with ALL and CNS (central nervous system complications) in June of 2008, and she completed chemo in Oct. 2010. She's doing well, life is close to normal. Her platelets are low (which causes a lot of bruising) but her doctors said her body can take a year for them to recover. They get damaged the most from chemo. She should be getting her port out on 8 months! She's truly an amazing little girl. Our Family is so grateful to all you who have either volunteered or donated to St.Baldrick's.
