Matthew is getting ready to turn 5 on march 7, 2013! His rare brain cancer is in remission. Matthew is still a happy little guy, attending special education pre-k in mt airy, MD. Matthew also enjoys physical therapy and occupational therapy and acupuncture outpatient and speech, PT and OT in his school. Matthew has been struggling with a new diagnosis of Dystonia, a movement disorder causing your muscles to involuntarily contract. It is presently preventing him from walking and sometimes from crawling. He is working hard to over come his many daily challenges. Matthew enjoys his baby brother, Liam who is 16 months and who adores his big bro. Matthew also has a baby brother or sister on the way - expected in late August! We love our little Matthew man so much and his strength and sweetness has made us all better people.
