Andrew is a bright and witty boy, with a giant heart. He loves people and likes to make them smile.
He was diagnosed at the age of 2, with an aggressive leukemia (t-cell ALL). Initially, his cancer was resistant to the treatment. It took extra chemo and radiation, and prayers from many, to bring Andrew into continued remission. He battled for over 3 years, and now lives as a Survivor.
Andrew still have regular visits with his oncologist, to make sure the cancer is gone. He also follows up with a number of specialists to manage and monitor the side effects of all the chemo/radiation.
Andrew is a boy with tremendous strength and courage, and he lives life joyfully. He is the world's greatest big brother to Christine and Elise, and he makes his parents proud everyday.
He loves being a boy scout, a drummer, and has a strong faith in Jesus.
