My Story

Hi my name is Leopoldo Rivas, I am 6 years old and I live with my family in Fresno, California. I was diagnosed with ALL (acute lyphoblastic leukemia) on July 16th, 2008. I am currently in remission. My mom and dad feel I handled my leukemia with strength and bravery. My mom, Christina, my dad, Leopoldo and my old sister Marcie were with me every step of the way. I am trying to resume regular childhood life and I will be entering kindergarteen this year. I would also like to thank all the staff at Children's Hospital Central California for everything they have done to make me well.
