My Story

Ramsey was diagnosed with ALL on 02/11/09. He responded very well to his chemo treatment and after 3+ years of chemotherapy treatment, Ramsey took his last chemo pill on 04/17/12. He is cancer free and will be considered cured on 04/17/17. We appreciate all the prayers, positive thoughts and support throughout this journey. AND thank you so much for your support of St. Baldrick's!!! Ramsey is very involved with St. Baldrick's and just shaved his head for the 7th time in 2014 (2x in 2013)...he's only 7! He is the strongest and bravest boy in the world! To donate to Ramsey shaving: www.stbaldricks.org/participants/kingramsey

Ramsey loves to make people laugh and has a personality that will make you melt! He is a very active and expressive 7 1/2 year old boy who loves to hang out with his family, Presidents (especially Abraham Lincoln), to write and draw, do puzzles, play catch or kick the ball and he LOVES the trampoline, the Wii and his Ipod Touch. He also really enjoys listening to music (especially Toby Mac, MercyMe, Hawk Nelson, Bon Jovi and Michael Jackson) and watching movies (Star Wars, Scooby Doo, Cars, Toy Story, Napoleon Dynamite, and Dumb-n-Dumber -with his Dad)! His favorite song is 'Move' by MercyMe...check it out! He definitely is very strong willed and that can test you at times, but we would not want it any other way.

Ramsey did amazing throughout treatment and is currently cancer free!!! Ramsey has continued to be strong and brave through out and we could not be prouder. He is our inspiration! Ramsey is definitely still as feisty as ever and he continues to amaze us with his resiliency. If you don't know Ramsey, you should! He is amazing! Thank you for your support!
