My Story

Aaron was diagnosed with Chronic Myelogenous Leukemia on September 21, 2007. He had a bone marrow transplant on March 6, 2008. When he found out that his hair was going to fall out, he got a mohawk and bleached it blond. When his hair returned after the transplant, it was very curly. Now he calls it "curly goodness." Aaron just found out that he can go back to school. He is very excited! He LOVES to eat Taco Bell. He loves to watch and play sports. He is a HUGE Lakers and Dodgers fan and can recite every statistic there is to know about both sports. He is just beginning to play baseball, his favorite sport, again. He loves being out on the field. He was able to play soccer last fall by working hard to strengthen his endurance. His friend and soccer teammate, Michael, and Michael's sister, Lauren, will be shaving their head. Way to go, Michael and Lauren! You are awesome!!
