Mike is a fun, loving 7 year old little boy who was diagnosed with an unidentifiable brain and spine tumor in September 2008. We just got the news yesterday that Mikey's tumor has grown and invaded the inside of his spinal column. We will be making decisions within the coming week as far as treatment is concerned. Mighty-Mikey is an amazing little boy. Through all of his surgeries and treatments so far he has kept smiling and playing. Mike loves to laugh and sing. He loves to play with his older sister, little brother and with his aunts and uncles. He has FINALLY expanded his diet and has started to gain a little weight and we're happy that he's actually fitting into size 5 clothes!! :) Hey, it's the little things, right?!?!
The Sesame Street characters, Mickey Mouse and Handy Manny are some of his favorite friends on TV! He also enjoys giving Mommy a blast from the past and has recently started watching Fraggle Rock & The Muppet Show! His favorite color is orange and his favorite food is chicken nuggets with Barbecue sauce and Scrambled eggs with Ketchup of course! I think Michael works very hard at keeping Heinz in business!! :) He enjoys playing outside and was 'adopted' by the US Merchant Marine Academy Mariners Football Team through the Friends of Jaclyn Foundation! :) He enjoys going to the games and often talks about playing football himself.
