My name is Logan and I am in 6th grade. I started throwing up constantly the day after my 5th birthday and was diagnosed with Choroid Plexus Carcinoma (a cancerous brain tumor) back in DEC '05, when we lived in the middle of the Mojave Desert at Ft. Irwin, CA. We moved to WA for closer access to care.
After 2 relapses, 3 craniotomies, 6 weeks of conformal radiation to the brain, 1 day of Gamma Knife radiation, 16 months of chemo, a clinical trial, multitudes of hospital stays, lab draws & blood transfusions, my last treatment was in OCT '09. We moved to HI almost 3 years ago.
I like to play sports, go tubing on both water & snow, climb EVERYTHING, swim, play video games, snowboard, build stuff, hang out with family and friends, and travel to different places (life of a proud military family). I have a huge family with lots of cousins, but unfortunately we all live all over the U.S. If you know our family, we're not ones to watch life go by, we're always on the go.
I know that I am loved very much by a lot of people, especially by my Dad, Mom, brother & sister. I believe in God and know that no matter what time it is, wherever I am, whatever I'm doing, He is there with me.
