Ben is awesome! At this point in his life, he is a happy and healthy six-and-a-half year-old! HOORAY!
Ben went through 15 months of intensive treatment including six rounds of high dose chemo, multiple surgeries, bone marrow transplant, 12 rounds of radiation, six months of oral chemo and antibody therapy. He was declared No Evidence of Disease in June 2005, but relapsed in July 2009.
He enjoys being a first grader, hanging out with friends and family, playing the Wii and other Nintendo games (Mario is his hero). He also likes to draw pictures and create comic books. He's an incredible kid!
