Megan is a very tiny, happy, conscientious eighteen year old who has a very contagious laugh. She is a senior in high school and an honor roll student. Meg has a part-time position as a cashier and will be attending college in the fall in Pennsylvania. She is hoping to participate in the Equestrian Club in college. Besides horseback riding, Megan loves to spend time in the kitchen baking and trying different recipes. She was nominated by her high school classmates as 'Most likely to appear on a cooking show" as Meg is widely known for her generosity when it comes to passing out the cookies!
Megan is a true cancer survivor. She was diagnosed with Stage IV Neuroblastoma at the age of 10 months with very little hope of survival. She defied the odds after being treated by a dedicated group of doctors at Memorial Sloan Kettering in NYC. Because of the chemotherapy and radiation, Megan is faced with some obstacles in life but has overcome everything that she has been faced with. Although she only reaches 4'7" in height, she is a strong, vibrant personality which makes up for her size!
She is an inspiration for so many and we feel so blessed to have her with us.
