Location: Urbandale, IA, US Age: 8
Maddy was diagnosed with Medulloblastoma, a brain tumor, when she was 3 years old. Her tumor was 100% resected at Children's Hospital of Iowa. She completed 6 weeks of radiation and chemotherapy at UIHC, and 1 year of additional chemotherapy at Blank Children's Hospital in Des Moines, Iowa. Through all of her treatment's, Maddy has shown us all how to be strong and brave. Her smile and laughter is contagious!
Maddy is looking forward to starting Kindergarten this fall, and enjoys dance, sports and playing with her brother and friends.
