UPDATE****Sophia is doing very well. She is still in maintenance untill her end date this September. Sophia is very excited to be going to DisneyLand in June thanks to Make A Wish and to be getting a new baby sister in april.
Sophia is a miracle child, along with the Leukemia, she also has Spina-Bifida, and Kidney disease. But you would never know it by looking at her. She is the funniest, most loving little girl around. She is in-love with having her pictures taken and being the center of attention!!
Sophia has a cat named Diddy and a new puppy named Hanna after her favorite tv show Hannah Montana. She is a singer and a dancer and loves to watch herself on her tv. She is the best kid EVER, and her strength and courage give us all the hope we need.
Sophia has been a fighter since the day she was born, and she will continue to fight not just for herself but in memory of her friend Arianna too.
***UPDATE**** 11/21/09 Sophia finished her treatment in September of this year. She is doing wonderful. She is so happy not to be taking 10 different medications, and spending all her free time at the dr.s or in the hospital. Sophia started pre-school last week and is doing wonderful...she loves school very much!! She is such a different kid now. She is so happy and beginning to forget about the pain of the last 2 1/2 years. She also cant get enough of her baby sister Olivia..who is her whole world now!!
