My Story

Mike was such a great person and had held up so good through all this. Just seems to go with the flow. We were all sad when we got the news that it was probably back. He is a video game junkie, has almost every system out there and likes playing games in his spare time. Each hospital, chemo, visit he has his hand held games with him to pass the time. He is attending school full time, we go in every 4 months for new scans to make sure cancer has not returned. He is involved in a few after school activities that keeps him busy. Of course he is still playing video games in his spare time. After being in remission for 2 years after his stem cell transplant, Mike's cancer returned. During surgery October 4th, 2010 to remove the latest tumor, he suffered a stroke and passed away on October 7th. Please help us raise money to help cure childhood cancer. Thank you to all who have donated and/or shaved your heads to help fight this terrible disease. Thank you for your continued support.
