Sam is a delightful little boy. He is VERY intelligent and loves to read and be read to. He also loves playing outside and plays basketball and practices Karate. Sam was born in Italy while his father was stationed there as a US Naval helo pilot. Younger brother Peter some times gives him "fits" -but Sam plays the big brother role pretty well.
Throughout all of his treatment Sam kept up his "spirits" and hence the spirits of all those around him!
