My Story

JANESSA HAS AN AMAZING SPIRIT. SHE LIVES HER LIFE TO THE FULLEST. SHE LOVES MUSIC,DANCING,CARD GAMES AND BAKING. HER POSITIVE ATTITUDE HELPED HER BATTLE CANCER NOT ONCE BUT TWICE. WHEN SHE RELAPSED, HER DOCTOR WANTED A MORE AGGRESSIVE TREATMENT. SO SHE HAD A STEM CELL TRANSPLANT JULY OF 2005. SHE HAD A LONG AND HARD RECOVERY. BUT WITH THE HELP OF ALL THE WONDERFUL DOCTORS AND NURSES, AND THE PRAYERS FROM FRIENDS AND FAMILY. JANESSA PULLED THROUGH WITH FLYING COLORS. ALTHOUGH SHE LOST HER HEARING FROM THE SIDE AFFECT OF HER TREATMENT, SHE STILL LOOKS AT THE BRIGHT SIDE. SHE WEARS HEARING AIDS BUT SHE LEARNED SIGN LANGUAGE, TO COMPENSATE FOR HER HEARING LOSS. EVERYONE WHO KNOWS HER OR MEETS HER FOR THE FIRST TIME, IS INSPIRED BY HER STRENGTH AND COURAGE AND THE LOVE SHE GIVES TO EVERYONE.
