Vanessa is a 4th grader who plays club soccer, the flute and loves African dance. Vanessa loves to eat Mexican food, Chinese food and pasta as well as chocolate. She has been in remission for 2 years and has been an active honoree for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. She would also like to spear-head a "pennies for patients" campaign at her school to help raise money for cancer research.
