Gage was diagnosed at 18 months with AML. He's such a strong little boy. He didn't know what was going on at the time, but he handles the treament very well. He went into remission after the 2nd treatment. We just finished with his last round of chemo, but we stay in the hospital until his counts come up. I can't wait to take him home. I've almost forgotten what it's like to have a normal life. We will never have a normal life again. We just pray it doesn't return. Well, Gage came home on February 19, 2008. It is now March 18, 2008 and so far so good. We go back to CHKD on March 21st to see when we can get the line out of his chest. Will be back with an update after the appt. It's March 26, 2008 and Gage's last Bone Marrow test came back negative. He's in the clear. His line comes out April 10th...WooHoo!!!
Today is March 11, 2009 and It's been 1 year that Gage has been in remission. He's doing wonderful!!!
