Ethan was diagnosed with Leukemia when he was 2 1/2 years old.
I don't know that there is anything worse than being told your child has cancer, but almost six years post-diagnosis, we find ourselves with a lot to be thankful for. Ethan is now eight years old, in second grade, and doing well. He had some ups and downs after his diagnosis which kept him in the hospital for weeks at a time, but he always kept his smile and has been a true inspiration.
Ethan loves to swim, ride his bike, play with his dogs, build Legos and travel. He is a HUGE Star Wars fan and loves to have Jedi vs. Sith "battles" with his Dad. Ethan spends hours building Legos and wants to be a Lego Engineer when he grows up.
