My Story

Julien was born eager to begin his adventures with life, especially in the great outdoors where he preferred to be, whether it was inside a backpack on a family cycling venture along the Potomac, or in the Vermont woods, or hiking the trails in Wintergreen, as long as he could feel motion and see green trees he was happy. Indoors, he loved to tackle an unsuspecting older brother at every turn, wrestle the dog Roxie, sing along with the family favorites, and eat with gusto everything in sight. He lived fearlessly and with great affection, planting open-mouthed kisses on everyone's face.
