We are pleased to announce that will are convening an International Loom-A-Thon Against Cancer on September 13th and 14th, 2014 and we would love to have you involved. Thank you for your time, efforts, and LOVE! We have a few tips to share to get you started:
1. STAY INFORMED: Please be sure to keep up with our mega Rainbow Looming efforts on Facebook at www.facebook.com/loomagainstcancer. We will be updating this page frequently.
2. MAKE A DATE: Make it yours. Consider planning an event prior to September 13 + 14 It can be tiny with a passionate loomer on a mission at home. Or it could be larger, maybe an after-school club, sports team, church group, or scout troop. Get together and loom on! A warm-up event or get-together is a great way to get communities activated and involved.
3. MAKE AN IMPACT: Once you set a date, consider how your loom creation will make an impact. Maybe your group wants to make bracelets to sell to raise funds for the cause. If so, consider setting up a "Loomonade" Stand to sell creations and raise funds. Or maybe you'd like to go the extra mile and loom a continuous chain. Consider asking local businesses to sponsor sections of the chain, donating funds to an amazing childhood cancer organization or local children's hospital. Be sure to utilize every opportunity to tell people about why you are Looming Against Cancer. You are empowered to use the Loom-A-Thon idea to make the impact you've envisioned.

---------> Did you know that 175,000 kids are diagnosed with cancer each year? And in the U. S., one in five will not survive. We WILL change that, so we're raising money to find better treatment options and survivorship care. Please support us with a donation to the MaxLove Project Hero Fund with the St. Baldrick's Foundation. This volunteer-driven charity funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U. S. government. Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. So when we ask for your support, we're really asking you to support these kids.
