Smiling Over Sickness (SOS) is a non-profit, charity organization run by the students in the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Ottawa. SOS directs community volunteerism and student energy with the goal of contributing to the lives of sick children fighting cancer.
Each year we hold a number of charity events, the largest of which is Shave for a Cure.
