Please allow me to introduce my nieces Nevaeh (10 soon to be 11) and Trinity(9) Kelleher...and their dad, my brother DJ who has the honor of raising these amazing girls. The girls have been directly affected by cancer and all it's devastation first with the loss of their Nana, then learning of how its affecting some children close to them. So they have decided to do something about it. These three will be shaving their heads in effort to help find a cure for childhood cancers through an event for St. Baldricks on Sunday March 10th at Main Street Sports Bar in Plymouth MA (StBaldricks.org). Now as bold as shaving your head for a good cause is, these girls aren't doing it for the recognition but for the satisfaction of knowing they did something to help someone, which should be a basic human value. Now take into consideration the fact that these are preteen girls, at an age where beauty, vanity and self consciousness is at a high and can alter their life forever. These girls are willing to alter their lives to affect the quality of life for another child. I'm overwhelmed by them and am proud as any aunt would be. The thought of the adults than they will become gives me faith that the world may still have a few game changers who can make the world a better place and people who genuinely care for others. Please help with our fundraising efforts and our effort to make as many people aware of our cause as possible. Thank you in advance for your time. With love, Danielle Kelleher

St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
