The St. Baldrick's Foundation is a volunteer-driven charity that funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government. Get involved and you'll be giving hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers.
Recently, becoming a father I couldn't imagine what it would be like to find out my child had been diagnosed with cancer. I have decided to put this event on, because I have a keen interest in children's health and I am aspiring to be a pediatrician one day, I feel as if this is a charitable event as well as a learning experience for everyone at the University of Toledo.
