"A heart filled with hope has room for all the good things.". Happy 2013! Another great event lies ahead! Let's show Cancer what it CAN'T do! Putting out a call to all of our friends. families, co-workers and local Green Bay Businesses to come out on March 9th and support this great event, and area famlies that are facing Cancer treatment, or the loss of a beloved family member Grab everyone you know and join our wonderfully fun Emcee, Bill Jartz from WBAY, and all of our brave participants as we strive for another record setting fundraising event. We have a very special ceremonial first shave this year, with several participants being 'knighted' (an honor bestowed upon participants shaving for the seventh time). Mayor Jim Schmitt has agreed to kick the event off with the knighting ceremony and the first shave!! The event will have all of the great activities of past years, with a kids games and activity areas, food and beverage, a bake sale, kids bucket raffles, adult prize giveaways and silent auctions as well as the grand prize. All this activity, and we still spend the entire event shaving the gorgeous heads of our brave participants, and supporting our families, friends and neighbors. The event is free and open to the public. Grand Prize drawing tickets are on sale now with great giveaways including 46" HDTV, A stunning, hand made quilt, gold to honor childhood cancer, an xbox 360 with Kinect, Packer memorabalia, and more! Tickets are $5 each or come in packs of (5) for $20! We look forward to seeing all of you there for a great afternoon of giving and sharing.
