Event Details

Be a hero for kids with cancer! Join this St. Baldrick's event, and whether you decide to shave your head, volunteer, or donate, we hope you'll be a part of the excitement. The St. Baldrick's Foundation is a volunteer-driven charity that funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government. Get involved and you'll be giving hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. 8:00am - 9:00am-----5K Shavee Shuffle- Check-in/registration begins at 8am at Oil City Stadium. Cost per participant is $15, and includes t-shirt. 9:00am-11:00am- Shavee Shuffle-Pre-register for 5K under team Shavee Shuffle which can be accessed from the Whiting Cares main page under teams, or you can search Shavee Shuffle from St. Baldricks.org Be sure to click the donate button as that is your registration! 12:00pm - 3:00pm------Spaghetti Luncheon @ Center Lounge Tickets can be purchased at Center Lounge, Rebeca's Full Service Salon, or at the door. Cost is $6 for Adults, $4 for kids, 3 and under are free. 2:00pm ------Donated baked goods can be dropped off prior to 2pm at Center Lounge or during the sale. 2:00pm - 5:00pm------Kids Corner- glitter tattoos, and kids games 5:00pm-----Main head-shaving event begins! 5:00 - 11:00pm-----Food, drinks, beer garden, 50/50, basket raffles and live entertainment

Event Activities

  • 8:00am - 11:00am

    5K Shavee Shuffle- Registration begins at 8am at Oil City Stadium. Cost per participant is $15, and includes t-shirt.

  • 9:00am - 11:00am

    Register for 5K under team Shavee Shuffle which can be accessed from the main page or search Whiting Cares, Shavee Shuffle

  • 12:00pm - 3:00pm

    Spaghetti Luncheon @ Center Lounge Tickets can be purchased at Center Lounge, Rebeca's Full Service Salon, or at the door. Cost is $6 for Adults, $4 for kids, 3 and under are free.
