Brevard College Baseball is raising money for childhood cancer research!
"BaseBald," a St. Baldrick's program, is the perfect combination of team spirit, paired with a St. Baldrick's signature head shaving event, where baseball teams get bald in solidarity with kids fighting cancer to raise awareness and money for childhood cancer research.
For each $100 donated, one Brevard College baseball player will shave his head on the Gil Coan field following the March 23rd home game against Tusculum. Our goal for the event is $4,500 -- and if we meet that goal, talk will turn to persuading the coaches to participate.
Be a hero for kids with cancer! Join this St. Baldrick's "BaseBald" event, and whether you decide to shave your head, volunteer, or donate, we hope you'll be a part of the excitement. The St. Baldrick's Foundation is a volunteer-driven charity that funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government. Get involved and you'll be giving hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers.
