Join the 6th annual Soldotna St. Baldrick's event @ The Elks Lodge #2706 44640 Parkway Avenue Soldotna, Alaska 99669 whether you decide to shave your head, volunteer, or donate, we hope you'll be a part of the excitement. The Kenai Peninsula St Baldrick's shaving event held in Soldotna has in a total of 5 events, raised more than $151,000 and shaved 423 heads. The St. Baldrick's Foundation is a volunteer-driven charity that funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government. Get involved and you'll be giving hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers.

ACTIVITIES

6:00 pm - 6:10 Opening ceremonies: emcee (moment of silence for all the children who lost the battle) Special introduction of this years honored children
6:10 - 6:15 a rundown of what is happening at the event, announcing the children activities
6:15 pm - 6:21 emcee introduces the 1st guest speaker 'A little about St Baldrick’s'
6:15 - 6:21 guest speaker 5 minute speach
6:21 - 6:22 Thank you to- the guest speaker
6:22 - 6:35 let the shavings begin, 1st group hits the stage (head hunter auction) between participant introductions the emcee tries to get none shavee's to be prodded into a free haircut by having friends, family, and guests bid with donations for their shone heads
6:35 - 6:40 emcee introduces the second guest speaker, Soldotna St Baldrick's event history
6:40 - 6:45 guest speaker 5 minute speach
6:45 - 7:00 shaving continues, raffle of items donated begins
8:00 pm event should end
7:00 - 7:30 shaving and head hunting continues until event ends
