This event is inspired by a book that a 10 year old boy read last year. "Drums, Girls & Dangerous Pie" written by Jordan Sonnenblick. After reading this book, Jack decided to shave his head so kids with cancer would know that it was okay to be without hair. Last year Jack raised $1200 on his own. Now, we are going public! Thank you in advance for your support either as a shavee, volunteer, or as a donor. Jordan Sonnenblick will be Skyped in to watch Jack be the first Shavee! Dana Rogers, local musician, will be singing for us! We'll have food and fun! Please attend the event to show your support! PARKING will be available at Thrasher Elementary School, 1301 James Boulevard (just two blocks south). Check out our Facebook Fan Page: JACK SHAVES FOR KIDS' CANCER And also Jack's video message which is linked to this page!

St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
