Event Details

The St. Baldrick's Foundation raises awareness and funds to fight childhood cancer. While battling cancer, children lose not only their hair but years of their childhood, and sometimes their lives. Participants in a St. Baldrick's event shave their heads in exchange for donations towards research. It's a simple concept, a fun time and a very effective fundraiser - since its founding in 2000, the St. Baldrick's Foundation has raised over $ 69 million by shaving over 106,ooo heads in 24 countries. Join us: 3pm Doors Open 3-7 registration and shaving!! *Guest appearance by Channel 3's Teresa Labarbera *Master of Ceremonies by MFD's own DJ Fusion!! *Souvenir pictures signed by Theresa by Jeff Shavees can register at the event. All preregistered shavees will receive cool free swag! Let's raise awareness and money and have some fun. Come get your head shaved or just watch. About TeamBrent: Southport's TeamBrent was created in 2005 to battle childhood cancer alongside 3yr old Brent. Today he is a survivor who has no recollection of his treatment - but the fight goes on.
