Be a hero for kids with cancer! Our St. Baldrick's event will be extra special because we have incorporated a 5k color run/walk to raise funds. The 5k will be held at the Boone County Fair Grounds on May 5th. Information and Registration can be found at www.BucsThundering.com. Then we will follow up this event with a head shaving event were you can decide to shave your head, volunteer, or donate. We hope you'll be a part of the excitement, becoming a tie died runner, then join the festivities that follow in the Belvidere High School Auxiliary Gym. The St. Baldrick's Foundation is a volunteer-driven charity that funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government. Get involved and you'll be giving hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers.
