My best Christmas gift was delivered two weeks early. Our young Ambassador, Justin, left the hospital in time to participate in his school’s Winter Concert.
As Justin and his classmates sang, I thought about how he has miraculously fought cancer seven times, and how those miracles were possible because of another one.
We usually recognize miracles as a single extraordinary event or feat, but I witness them every day.
You are that miracle because every day, you surround children fighting cancer and their families in love and care and give them hope for the future.
Indeed, you’ve helped make it possible for one boy to live seven miracles — how many more you’ve made possible, we may never know.
On behalf of Justin, his family, and all of our Ambassadors and honored families, thank you for believing in miracles and for the extraordinary gifts of love, laughter, generosity and hope that you give so abundantly all year.
