They are the best of the best; in patient services, cancer treatment, and overall care— and each has received research funding from the St. Baldrick’s Foundation.
Every year, U.S. News and World Report compiles a list of “America’s Best Children’s Hospitals” to showcase medical centers that deal with both the ordinary and extraordinary. Each day these hospitals care for kids who have cancer, cystic fibrosis, defective hearts, and countless other life-threatening or rare conditions beyond the capabilities of most hospitals, even those with sizable pediatric departments. The rankings show the 30 top children's centers in 10 specialties including cancer. Eight hospitals, recognized in the Honor Roll, ranked in all 10.
